Event Date: September 6th, 2025

Format: The 15 th Annual Vermont Hickory Classic at Montague Golf Club provides
another opportunity for golfers to party like it’s 1913. Montague Modified
Stableford scoring format with 3 Divisions based on a range of Handicap Index,
ranges yet to be determined. The period-style dress as always surely does not
disappoint. The relatively new ownership at Montague continues to improve the
club and playing conditions.

Schedule: Photo and rules review at 10:00 AM, shotgun start at 10:30 AM. Please
arrive and register well before 10:00 AM.

Costs: $75.00 with or without cart, includes excellent Italian style dinner after play.
Payment upon arrival, cash or check only.

Equipment: Hickory Shafts made before December 31, 1934, or replica clubs
certified by Society of Hickory Golfers, no club limit. To add enjoyment to the
hickory golf experience and to show respect for wood shaft era players, appropriate
“period” attire is encouraged.

Divisions: “A” (Jones), “B” (Hagen), “C” (Vardon)

Handicap Index ranges and divisions to be determined after entries are
closed. Divisions based on age are not being used this year.
