Format: The Vermont Hickory Classic at Montague Golf Club provides another opportunity for golfers to party like it’s 1913. Montague Modified Stableford scoring format with Open and Super Senior Divisions. The period style dress as always surely does not disappoint. There is new ownership at Montague with major changes, including a completely refurbished clubhouse.
Schedule: Photo and rules review at 10:00 AM, shotgun start at 10:30 AM. Please arrive and register well before 10:00 AM.
Costs: $75.00 with or without cart, includes excellent Italian style dinner after play. Payment upon arrival, cash or check only.
Equipment: Hickory Shafts made before December 31, 1934, or replica clubs certified by Society of Hickory Golfers, no club limit. To add enjoyment to the hickory golf experience and to show respect for wood shaft era players, appropriate “period” attire is encouraged.
Divisions: Age for divisions as of September 7th, 2024
- Open Division (0-69) and Super Senior (70+) will play from the Gold tees.
- Any player may choose to compete in the Open Division.
